The photographs in this gallery are all by Mario Fletzer. Born in Venice in 1958, an architect currently working for the Urban sector at the Province of Venice.His passion for photographs started from a child and at 10 years old he started to print his own photographs in black and white encouraged by his sister and some of his friends.He observes the world surrounding the subject to incorporate an image a bit different and particular.

He loves to photograph his Venice from the reflections on the water to its unique buildings, although he prefers his photographs of the countryside.

He has had exhibitions in Italy and abroad in particular in Germany with his friend Heinz Thieme from Rendsburg. He has also participated in various competitions and obtained several prizes.

His photographs have been published in many magazines to list a few : ‘ Fotografare’, ‘Stautus’ ( The art of Housing) - Japan , ‘ Phalaris’ (Masiero Foundation), ‘Interni’,’Vicio & Luxos’, ( Portugal), ‘Radici’ ((Revue d’actualité, culture el langue italiennes) (France), ‘Leo’ (Venice Tourist Board),’Urbanistica Quarderni INU’.

He uses a Nikon from 6MP (3008x2000). One D70 accompanied with original lenses that cover a width of shots from 12-500mm.

In this photo gallery you will find photos taken before 2005. These have been taken with an old but valid camera a Digital Coolpix 995 3.3MP (2048 x 1536.) They have been highlighted with the inscription ‘2048x1536.' This has been done as not to confuse with the others that are of a higher quality (3008x2000) that do not have any inscriptions.
